Assistant Director Ė Global Security & Aviation
As a member of the Global Security team, Lorraine shares in the responsibility for physical security of the Cigna population and assets. In her role, she designs and delivers security awareness education programs, influences security policy and practices, engages in executive protection and business continuity planning, conducts facility security surveys, and investigates reports of criminal behavior and domestic violence in the Cigna workplace. Lorraine has also researched and reported on risks associated with mail and package delivery services. She has conducted a study and report supporting the modernization and migration to an enterprise-wide access control system.
Prior to Cigna employment, Lorraine was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service. While an agent assigned to New York City and New Haven, CT, she conducted fraud, counterfeit and threat investigations relative to U. S. Treasury violations. Additionally, she provided physical protection including logistical planning for U.S. Presidents and Vice Presidents as well as foreign dignitaries.
Lorraine has traveled extensively; the U.S., Asia and Europe, in fulfilling her security roles. She has participated in security planning for a corporate sponsor of the Olympic Games. She is a member of the Association of Agents of the United States Secret Service (AFAUSSS) and American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS International).
Lorraine earned a Bachelorís Degree in Criminal Justice at SUNY College of Technology, Utica, NY and a Masterís in Business Administration at the University of New Haven, CT. She is married and has three sons.
