Dede Bartlett
Immediate Past Chair: Advisory Board, National Domestic Violence Hotline

Dede Bartlett is an authority and frequent speaker on domestic violence issues to civic groups and on college campuses around the country as well as a non-profit leader and a former officer of two Fortune 25 companies – Exxon Mobil and Altria. She has lectured on domestic violence prevention in Europe, Central America, Australia and Hong Kong.

Dede is Immediate Past Chair of the Advisory Board of the National Domestic Violence Hotline, a Director of the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence and Past President of the Women’s Forum of New York. She founded and heads the New Canaan, Ct. Partnership Against Domestic Violence and is on the Advisory Board of the Domestic Violence Crisis Center.

Dede was Vice President of Corporate Affairs Programs at Altria Group Inc., where she developed the Company’s award winning domestic violence programs and sponsored more than 40 awareness raising conferences around the world.

She was also Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Philip Morris Companies Inc. Earlier, she served as Corporate Secretary of Mobil Corporation, President of the Mobil Foundation and Chair of the Board Contributions Committee where she directed Mobil’s worldwide charitable giving programs. In addition, she was Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive of Mobil.

Dede Bartlett received the Women Who Make a Difference Award from the International Women’s Forum. She has been honored by Lifetime Television, the National Domestic Violence Hotline, the YWCA of New York, the National Center for Victims of Crime, the National Council of Jewish Women, the Stamford, Ct. Police Department, Women in Management, Women Executives in Public Relations and the Center Against Domestic Violence. She is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who of American Women.

Dede Bartlett is also a Trustee of the American University of Central Asia. She is an honors graduate of Vassar College and holds a Masters Degree from New York University.
