2002 National Corporate Conference on Domestic Violence

The Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence was a proud co-sponsor of the 7th Annual Corporate Conference on Domestic Violence. The conference took place Thursday, October 24, 2002 at the Grand Hyatt in New York. In 2002, the conference became a national event.

The theme for the conference was "Security & Domestic Violence in the Workplace: A Blueprint for Response." Keynote addresses and break out sessions were designed to help participants create and maintain a workplace program. The Keynote Speaker was Eugene A. Rugala, Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI's National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime. Other speakers included Paul R. Charron, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Liz Claiborne, and the Honorable Jerry W. Kilgore, Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The National Corporate Conference on Domestic Violence was the largest of its kind in the world dedicated to addressing intimate partner violence in the workplace.
