The Women's Fund of Miami Dade Joins the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence
The Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence is pleased to announce that The Women's Fund of Miami-Dade
is the newest member of CAEPV. The Women's Fund of Miami-Dade is a catalyst for social change and economic justice with the goal of creating a community where all women and girls reach their full potential. Their grant making, along with advocacy, training and community building are the key elements used to achieve this goal. Through the years, their work has focused on poverty, low self-esteem, inadequate healthcare, job access, domestic violence, and sexual assault. They fund innovative programs that are preventative, confront discrimination, promote leadership and foster economic self-sufficiency. In October of 2003, they hosted Miami's first corporate summit on domestic violence.
